It started with a group of friends, some Houston natives, others who found their way here from different parts of the world. All united by their love for this vibrant city and their four-legged companions: Lateef the maltipoo, Arya the bernedoodle, and Obi the labradoodle.

After countless gatherings at local parks and bars, we noticed something missing: a dedicated space where dogs and their people could truly connect, socialize, and build lasting relationships.

What started as casual conversations over coffee soon evolved into a shared vision. Research, planning, and community building followed. Local businesses showed interest, pet enthusiasts offered advice, and the project gained momentum.

Zoomies stands as a testament to what Houston can build together: a place where the community grows stronger one tail wag, one conversation, and one cold drink at a time.
