Zoomies Dog Park is Houston’s first and friendliest dog social club. We foster socialization, exercise, and responsible pet ownership by creating a joyful space that nurtures the unique bonds between dogs and their owners. Our commitment is to provide a safe, well-maintained, and inclusive space that celebrates the diversity of dogs and promotes lasting friendships among our two-legged and four-legged visitors. Through constant innovation and collaboration, we strive to be the Best Place for your Best Friend.
📖 Our Story
Our journey began with two immigrant engineers, Ramy and Shadi, who came to Texas seeking better opportunities. The idea of dogs as beloved family members was foreign to Ramy and Shadi- in Egypt, dogs were either working animals or strays. That changed one sunny day when they stumbled upon a bustling dog park. Intrigued, they met Lisa and her golden retriever, Max, whose warmth and joy sparked their transformation.
Ramy and Shadi's curiosity grew into a passion. They adopted Lateef, a caramel-coated maltipoo, and Arya, a blue bernedoodle, becoming devoted dog owners. Inspired to give back, they proposed a dedicated dog park to the city council, who embraced the idea. Gathering local support and enlisting likeminded friends, they started the journey towards Zoomies Dog Park: a place where dogs and owners can bond and play. Zoomies stands as a symbol of community and the transformative power of dogs.
